It's time to wake up Geoff, it's certainly a long winded document but it does bring to attention that it's not just the VRCT that is modernising scientific careers. It could be the the EWP foundation degree ends up the equivalent of HD-DVD to Blu-ray after the chief scientific officer decideds that the requirements should be something different. A few points that are raised is that there's no reference made to the VRCT, it's made clearer what a Healthcare Science Assistant is, a seperate management career path is displayed and in the small print it does seem to mention qualifications at HND level for engineering posts.
