Live with the machines, be on the shoulder of the service engineer an ask questions, be there when the machines break down and find a good ODP to explain, do his and you’ll know more than most with or without the bits of paper.
Also never forget the machine you are working on could have a loved one on.
Fix it and fix it well. Believe me it really isn’t the paper that makes a good tech, and anyone who says it is wrong.
I’ve been on courses and you would have to be totally stupid to fail manufacturer training. In fact does anyone know of any stories of someone who has failed?
