They tread on our future and they stamp on our dreams'".... and what became of Ned?, I hear you ask. Some say that he never existed (and they may have a point, as no record survives of anyone by that name having been hung around that time, unlike many of his followers). But there again, some people reckon that the story of Robin Hood is just a myth, too. Perhaps I'd better mention Wat Tyler here as well. True English heroes, all! Will we ever see their like again?
