Ascribe (Barwick) are pleased to announce the release of E-MAT v1.36 Available from our website at: http://www.barwicksystems.co.ukThis new version includes: Customer Contact Details- The New Customer Contact Details module allows the user to add contact details to Sites, Hospitals, Department, Locations & Organisations. Contact Details include address, telephone no., fax no. & e-mail address. The user may also add staff records as a contact for each 'customer'. Review the Customer Contacts section for more information.
Maintenance- Redesign of Maintenance tabs to make more use of space & provide a consistent layout.
- A new default job status of 'Forwarded for Condemnation'. When entering service history for a job which has a status of 'Forwarded for Condemnation' a checkbox will be available named 'Scrap Equipment' which when checked will scrap the equipment.
- Contract Type has been amended to include flags for 'Include Faults', 'Include PPMs', 'Include Fault Parts' and 'Include PPM Parts'. The 'Include PPMs' flag has been moved here from Contracts.
- Contract maintenance is now available as a tab on the main screen.
Inventory- The extra filters available on the main inventory screen are now also available via the Select Equipment screens.
- Supplier has been added as an inventory filter.
- New Inventory Details Layout.
- Purchase Details are displayed as a section on this main screen.
- The following tabs will be available on this new screen (instead of via popup forms):
- PPM/PAT/Calibration Details
- Manuals
- Software
- Notices
- Attachments
- Risk
- Batch
- plus any Extra Inventory Sections/Fields
- 'New Like This' button available from this new screen.
- Choice of two layouts for this new screen.
- Access to the New Customer Contact Details is available from this screen via the prompt buttons for hospital, department, location & organisation (in view mode only).
- Comments/Notes fields allows more characters (Ref: F0014811)
- When scrapping equipment a new field has been added to the 'Scrap Equipment' screen to allow the user to enter some free text and an email will be generated to the department informing them of the scrapped equipment.
Jobs- Allocated Jobs screen amendments:
- An option has been added to to allow the user to switch between a single or multi-line view of the unallocated jobs list.
- Only the current technician will initially be displayed as open on the right side of the screen.
- The current technician will also be displayed at the top of this list.
- The settings for the position of the divider, whether the print option is selected and the single/multi-line view will be retained for each user.
- New Call Logger Layout.
- The 'Log Call' button from the main inventory screen will display this new screen as a popup rather than opening the Jobs section.
- The following tabs will be available on this new screen when logging a job:
- Purchase Details: if the equipment is under warranty and the user has security to view these details (JOBCONTVW).
- Contracts: if the equipment is not under warranty, is on a contract and the user has security to view these details (JOBCONTVW).
- Notices: if there are notices for the equipment type being logged.
- Service History: if previous service history exists for this item of equipment.
- When logging a job for an equipment library item an option will be available to toggle the location for the job (i.e. switch between booked out location or the equipment library). (Ref: F0017310)
Equipment Library Module- A new feature has been added to determine whether patient details are mandatory within the equipment library module.
Service History- A 'New Service History Template' feature has been included to allow the use of Microsoft® Word templates when printing service history records. (Ref: 0035645)
- A new button is available on the service history attachments tab which will allow the user to scan a document and attach it to the job. (Ref: F0035641)
Document Library- The tree view within the Document Library will not auto-expand.
Reports- Model Number included as a result field in the Work Done Report.
Training/CNST System- Amend Trainee Audit Date.
- The result fields within the training reports will be available even if filtering by this field, the user may need to right-click to display the column. (Ref: F0034191)
Misc- If a /LOCK parameter is added to the shortcut for the application the user will be presented with an option to lock/unlock the application. This may be utilised to stop users from running the application while maintenance tasks are being performed (i.e. running the updater).
