I believe that John spent more time in Riyadh than he did in Perth. And about his marital CV ... I think all I can say is "pass".
But otherwise, it was the same bloke you must have known along with Gordon Miller, "John" Davies, Peter Bowers
et al during commissioning at the Royal. And, of course, Terry, Bill and the "Hairy Matchstick". Not sure if you had already left when Tony Strong joined the "A-team"!
