The number of patients enabled on an M3150 is a paid option, and increasing this number without purchasing an upgrade is a criminal offense. Even when an upgrade has been purchased, the installation must be performed by a field service engineer trained by Philips.

M3150 is an alarm delivery system, which means if you make any changes to the system, proper validation must be performed to ensure the system performs to specifications after the change. Failure to do this may put patient lives at risk. This is the reason why the upgrades must be installed by a qualified engineer.

I would strongly advise you to contact your local Philips support organization. If you have trouble locating who to contact, please send me a private message with your details and I will be glad to help you.
