I am currently working in French hospitals, where I'm in charge of medical equipment management: budget preparation, purchasing, maintenance, sub-contracting management...
I've an opportunity to move to UK (following my husband), and I'm looking for information about biomedical engineering in UK:
- what kind of posts do you have in medical engineering: repair, asset management, quality, project manager...(my experience is more about management than repair)?
- do you know if my french diploma can be recognized in a UK hospital?
- does every private/public hospital has a biomedical department?
- do you think it's realistic for a french biomedical engineer to look for a job in a british hospital (after some english courses!)?
