What type of PC (operating system
etc.) do you have available?
Does your PC read the disk in question? What does it report (what files are on it)?
Is the disk you are using freshly formatted?
Which software (and from where) are you copying to the disk?
If everything to do with the disk itself is OK ... then I'm afraid that the problem there could be the floppy drive. But (from what you are saying) I would suspect the disk.
Try a new, freshly formatted disk.
