Our hospital is starting an equipment pool, carrying just infusion devices to start with. We are planning to use the Psion Workabout handheld computer to control the devices using barcodes.
Has anyone devised such a system, or had experience using these Psion devices. We have had ideas where each ward may get a card, so they scan thier card then scan what equipment they want etc.
