Barwick Systems (part of the Ascribe Group of companies) are pleased to announce the release of E-MAT v1.30
available from our website at:
http://www.barwicksystems.co.uk This new version includes:
- Individual items or equipment of a particular model may be marked as quarantined (ISO9001:2000 requirement). No jobs may be logged for quarantined equipment.
- Equipment types may now be marked as requiring a decontamination form when a job is logged. Until a decontamination form has been received the job may not be allocated to a technician.
- A company may now be flagged as being MIA (indemnity) applicable.
- An MIA applicable company requires an MIA Number and MIA Expiry date. The user will be warned when this MIA Expiry date expires.
- The user may configure site specific job number formats which may include month/year numbers, etc.
- It is possible to allocate companies to maintainable company types i.e. Medical, Non Medical etc.
- Facility to merge model numbers.
- A higher level of department has been created which may then be allocated to a hospital and then a directorate. This will allow users to query on a specific department at a site (as now) and also to query a department across the trust i.e. all A&E departments.
- A manager may be allocated to a department and automatically emailed when a job status is amended for ‘Equipment sent to supplier’ and also ‘Awaiting Parts’. These staff (manager) details may be maintained– name, job title, email, phone etc.
- Stock may be allocated and filtered to system defined groups.
- Stock lines may be marked as perishable with a default life span. The user is warned on any attempt to use a part which has expired.
- A list of Kit templates may be maintained. Kits may then be built using the Kit templates. These built kits may be used when entering service history.
- Equipment Library - Ability to notify equipment as not being available (washing, recharging etc.).
