Does anyone know (or remember) anything about Basal Skin Resistance?
In one of my old notebooks under a heading of "Typical Physiological Signals" I have come across:- Basal skin resistance : 0 to 1 Hz.
I am now assuming (guessing) that this actually refers to a sampling rate; otherwise, why not (kil)ohms? Of course, it could also just be an error!
I haven't been able to find much on line, except some pointers towards Galvanic Skin Response (and 1 to 10 Hz sampling rates for that one).
It also looks like there is a newer terminology about these days:- Electrodermal Activity (EDA), for example.
So here I am, waiting in anticipation ... with sweaty palms!
