We are looking to recruit an experienced Medical Equipment Management Clinical Technologist/Engineer to head-up our operations at the Royal Infirmary, here in Edinburgh. This is a great opportunity for an experienced clinical technologist/engineer who's looking for career progression. Based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, this is a full-time post (currently 37 hrs/wk with Scottish Government planning to reduce AfC roles to 36 hrs/wk) leading a team of nearly 20 clinical technologist staff in two workshops that support the Royal Infirmary, the Royal Hospital for Children & Young People and a number of other clinics and community locations across the City of Edinburgh, Midlothian and East Lothian.

In total there are nearly 60 staff in our team working across five workshops, a contracts/admin team plus two new connectivity/system administration posts, all together supporting ~47,000 items of medical equipment.

The closing date is Wednesday 19 February, please apply via the NHS Scotland Jobs website:

https://apply.jobs.scot.nhs.uk/Job/JobDetail?JobId=207810

Requests to come and visit to meet the team and look around the site are encouraged. Make a weekend of it and come and visit Edinburgh!
