This Full size MRI Room I believe will be up and scanning for the UK in October 2005 if not already This is another 1st for the UK as many know Aberdeen University was the 1st University in the WORLD to install a upright-mri also it was fitting because Abeerdeen University was the ORGINAL Developer of the MRI concept.

Hey Bev, haven’t you heard of punctuation, then? A few commas and full stops (periods) here and there might make your stuff a bit easier to read! smile

Beverly,
We welcome new members and new technology, but your postings were a bit too enthusiastic about one supplier. I thought you were part of their marketing and PR dept.
If you wish to explain or discuss the merits of MRI, thats fine. If it is seen by the administrators as overtly commercial it will be edited or deleted. smile No offence intended.

Geoff is correct as usual. I have very poor grammer, being from the South that should be overlooked, but I haven’t a clue what BeverlyJ said. But don’t be put off Bev, the administrators are just protecting us from unruly sales people. So how does this thing work and WHO will be able to work on it?

Thanks Guys/Gals I understand you ment well. Lots of good stuff going on in the imaging field even updates on CT scans and how dangerous those scans are for children etc. But sometimes you just have to get a CT scan its that simple At 1st their were patients that were in pain and who had scans and they could not find the cause of pain or were to large or claustrophobic to get a mri scan coming from the UK to the USA sent their by their Drs or Surgeons for weight bearing scans What happened next was all across Europe patients were going to a Madrid Hospital in Spain once they heard about weight bering mri Now I guess European Patients will be going to Germany...Switzerland..Spain...Scotland and it all started in the UK the mri concept which has saved millions of lives and re-educated the Medical Experts who are about to get re-educated again about positional weight bearing scans Medical Experts did not accept the X_Ray at 1st also Then the 1st mri scanners were not accepted also etc. Now a interesting person to look up is Nickola Tesla he also started the mri thinking a great inventor of many things with electric curent The millions lost in any country from lost work because of back pain misdiagnosed and pain management is unreal Drs say conventional scanners overlook 40 % of pathology which goes hand and hand with the 48 % failed back surgery # a # not acceptable to most surgeons I hope mri treadmill heart tests are a improvement over the test for heart plaque that we have now I read that any mri scanner is better for LIE detection also which might be useful for police work also

Hi Bev,
Interesting stuff, but I agree with my old mate Geoff. Whilst my grammer & spelling isn't very good, your posting is very difficult to read without comma's, paragraphs and spaces in the text.
I hope the book isn't written like this or does everyone in the US write this way?
