Thanks,

At The Freeman Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne I pay £30 per month, recently increased from £21!I am informed that this is to pay for the newly built multistorey car park.

Here at Liverpool Cardiothoracic Trust we pay £15 p/month from salary direct.
The parking is all managed by Vinci and I beleive at least some of the money goes towards the newly built multi storey car park.

Just been raised here to £20 per month from £16
No multistorey or private company, not even tarmac on the "waste ground" carparks.

Justification? To encourage a green transport approach to come to work. (Work that one out in a rural location with few buses, no direct routes and no linking rail service)

Reality? To help pay for a £20m budget deficit.

Public approach! "to improve patient care"

One pound per month here. This is for access to a multi storey car park. (when it isn't full!)

Outside of hospitals are there any employees who have to pay to park their car?
None that I know of.

Anywhere between £25 and £45 depending if you were one of the chosen few to be granted permits.
Our trust sold off all the parking spaces to a private company who then built a multi storey car park. mad mad

Not only that our lovely local council is putting parking restrictions on all the public roads nearby the hospital to stop you parking there as well mad mad
