Dantec (I think) Make the Infutest 2000

Thats all I can think of to hand.

What about burettes and electronic weighing scales, then?

Avery used to market a specifically modified set of scales suitable for infusion performance measurements.

Has anybody got details of a contact address etc or make and model + software for alternatives

We use an infusion tester made by Metron the QA-IDS or Lagu (UK agents Qados). Although I personally prefer the burette where you can actually see the result (a bit like anaesthetists with rotameters I suppose).

In Portugal we use 4 IDA4, but we have some problems because appears in the display N/O and equipment doesn't work.

Thanks for info already sent. We already have both IDA and the Metron systems however nor considering the scales-weighing method.

Hence after information from any one using either Avery dedicated scales or other makes that may have been modified in-house etc.

You can also go dry using the Syringe Pump Calibrator SPC-1 from Ultramedic. All information can then be graphed or tabled on the PC.

We use a burette and stopwatch. We have an IDA-4 but it's just not accurate enough for calibration purposes. We also use a dial gauge for syringe drivers.
