Is their anyone maintaining Electrical/Battery Medical Suction Devices who I can talk to?

We are just starting to service these devices and I would like some pointers on good practice.

Please could you email me your number or email. Many thanks

What kind of information do you actually need?

We basically visually inspect the whole unit. Measure the maximum vacuum, check the acurracy of any gauges and perform a battery run test.
The department/unit should be replacing filters and tubing if it becomes soiled or on an annual basis(we use dispoable VacSac thingies).

Hope this helps Dazza

Therapy Equipment publish some nice stuff. A place to start with your procedures, perhaps, Darren.

You might be interested in this one too.

All this, and more, is available at a few clicks of the mouse button. Have fun! smile

If you don't inspect ... don't expect.
