Can you fit a bs standard probe to the opposite end of the hose from the machine nist supply for the cylinder reg. Then fit a standard off the shelf pin index regulator + shrader valve to the cylinder. Connect the bs probe to the shrader valve, job done.
PS not had to do this myself, but dont see why it wont work.

The anaesthetic techs dont want the cylinder hoses fitted with BS probes as in theory its possible to connect these to the wall and bypass the cylinders (althought its unlikely in practise due to the length of the hoses.

The new Draeger regs have a NIST fitting on the output so therefore use a NIST to NIST hose to connect to the machine. Oxylitre dont provide regs with NIST outlets.

Speak to Therapy Equipment or MEC, you have to phone up and ask the actual technical guys if they will do specials that arent in the catalogue. Both have been very helpful to me in the past.

Just noticed this post about the cylinder regulators on Cato, we have bought the diaphragms from Drager (part number D04941) for around £5 and fitted them instead of replacing the regulators.
