Has anyone out there got or is soon to be scrapping any of these old Vickers units? We have one faulty unit on our PICU but can't purchase spare parts for it. All i need is the three numered temperature dial from the front of the unit. The rest of the babytherm is in full working order and still under service support from Drager but they carry no spares. Can anyone help?
Many thanks,
Alan

Sorry we scrapped ours a number of years ago. I would suggest that you do the same.

Are Draeger really supporting these if they have not got the spare parts?

I have two of these units at Shrewsbury. Drager have inherited the situation from Hill Rom and I have obtained some parts from Drager. Are you sure that the dials are unavailable?
I may be scrapping mine this year but money being tight, it may not be possible.

I have finally managed to aquire the spare part, many thanks for your help. Also, Rojo, they are providing service support - which in our case is a yearly function check, if anything fails they will deem the unit obsolete and ask us to replace/scrap it.

I thought they had already deemed the unit obsolete.

The IICS90 is supported by Draeger Medical, although the device is no longer sold in the UK as the device was not CE marked.
The IICS90 is still in production in the US of A where the CE mark is not neccessary.
