I have just heard a horrible rumour that the Tec's at Guys and St Thomas's in London have been graded. And wait for it!!
MTO 3's to grade 5, MTO 4's to grade 6 and MTO 5's to grade 8!!!!
Any body out there who can confirm this or hopefully tell me it is wrong?

Double D

I cannot confirm the result but I am a Med.Tech. and also a matcher at my hospital and that is how I expect posts to pan out.
Are you dissapointed or happy with the result?
Remember there will be London weighting on the pay.
Tony.

The web address for ART is:- www.artery.org.uk as far as I'm aware this information is genuine if its coming from the Technical Manager I have no reasons not to.

The pay bands Noddy is refering to are for the Renal Techs. Double D may be quoting the EBME techs? It would be interesting to know if there is a difference. I guess the techs there may be appealing against their bands, but I'm sure we would all like to know what they were offered.

Is anyone on-call over Christmas & do you get a day off in leau for Christmas, Boxing & New years day?

Hi Simon
On this occasion If the proof is required and does only relate to Renal Techs as is put I suggest you have a very close look at the gov A4C web IT IS there!!!! I'm sure I don't need to give anyone the site web address? If it is of any use you will also find the current general terms and conditions.

Sorry Simon,
What I meant to say is I have been trained as a job matcher for A4C which has started at my Trust.
