I would like to thank all the medical Devices trainers and Companies in contacting me either by e-mail, via this web site even by snail mail, there is a great interest in all in improving the way we deliver competency based training.
Perhaps it is time that we ask ourselves should we all be coming together for a meeting (All Trainers, All companies)and share ideas.
Perhaps we need a national standard that is transferable for a nurse/professional from one hospital to another?
Are ther any companies that could supply a venue or willing to sponser an event, but I would also ask that you will allow other medical devices companies to attend.
All devices and all professional need the same standard?

Good idea. Datex-Ohmeda would be happy to host such a meeting at our offices in Hatfield or indeed participate in one anywhere else.
