Does anyone know of a second (cheaper) source for temperature probes for the Draeger 8000 incubators. It is the same plug as their other paediatric cots etc.
I have tried the usual sources and can find none.

Might be worth trying a company called Repton Medical Ltd (01623 827903). The company was started by two ex Draeger reps who worked in the consumable side of the business. They may have picked up contacts on who else could supply said probes and then used it to their (and our) advantage now.

Am I correct in saying it has a three-pin din style plug, the same as the old Airshields connector? If I'm right, it's catalogue number 801 currently priced at £107.80 each + P&P and VAT

I think the type Robert is after comes in either yellow or white (depending whether it is core or peripheral) and has two pins in a non din style plug.

The disposible one is cheaper than the metal one. I believe draeger supplies 5 probes in one package and the price for five is roughly about £95. It depends in your application.
