Would anyone have an idea of why my oxylog 3000 is giving a Device Failure alarm at the end of its self test. My oxylog is under contract but someone has also stolen my manual.

Very reliable. I like the idea of battery icons (when calibrated). Better than the 2000 due to the PEEP setting.
My origional question was based on a nursing issue as they may set the vent up during the night. This DEVICE FAILURE alarm actually stops the nurses from using the vent.

According to the user manual a Device Failure is a level 3 technical fault and should be referred to Drager tech dept.
Do you use disposable or reusable circuits. We use disposable and have recently found a problem whereby the tubing easily comes apart near to the patient end. Drager think it is a batch problem and it is something to look out for.

The alarm menu can be viewed by entering service menu, larm discription will say which part is giving problem. Most probably it is due to Flowsensor if the ventilator is not in regular use.
