Could that be a config problem. If the defib has a config that shows an SPO2 module then it will fail the shift system test. I acme across this whilst upgrading the AED to 2005 guidelines and incorrectly accepted an SPO2 module that was not inplace. Reinstalling the upgrade software did the job

Hi Manesh,
Has the manufacturer installed an spo2 PCA? The defib will only show an spo2 test on the shift check if this PCA is connected. If you already had an spo2 PCA installed and it is now failing then check your error log to see what the error code is then fault find as appropriate. Error 90006 is spo2 self test failure and is resolved by replacing the following boards in order;
spo2 parameter control
If the the manufacturer has replaced the control board three times and you are still having the problem then it must be one of the other boards.
Could the manufacturer not have reconnected the spo2 PCA? Check all interconnections are sound between the boards. Do you have a faulty spo2 cable?
If you do not have an spo2 PCA installed then the device shouldnt be testing for spo2 functionality. You could see if you can disable the spo2 function in the technician or configuration menus so it passes the shift check. Also if your defib is not showing the serial number, do you mean in the test printout? If so then these defibs tend to collect dust on the printhead and is just a matter of blowing on the printhead to remove the dust, you will find that this will resolve that problem. If the serial number is not in the error log then there is a software problem and you will need to reinstall the software rev A.02.20 i believe, this is FOC from Philips medical. If this dont resolve the problem then I would get the manufacturer back to resolve as they might have done something to the unit whilst trying to repair.
