terrapin2 Newbie Joined: May 2007 Posts: 3 Hampshire	I don't curently have any valves however I hava long standing desire to build a "theromin" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theremin and have previously investigated an emulated electronic version using non valve componants but that seems a sell out! watch this space maybee I will build one one day

Keith Saxon Newbie Joined: May 2007 Posts: 5 St. Helens, UK	My home-made valve theremin had MIDI output and a volume antenna as well as a pitch one. I gave it away though when i moved house. I'll try to dig up the original circuit, I'm sure I still have it somewhere. The valves were ECF80's from old TV sets as I recall...
