One of our Medics has requested a stand alone hygrometer for use in an open incubator. His idea is to measure the humidity when the patient is covered in a headbox and receiving oxygen therapy. He may also need to measure humidity around the body when the patient is partly covered in bubble wrap.
If anyone could advise me as to where I could obtain a hygrometer for this environment I would be most grateful.

R.S. do one (204-072) which monitors and displays temperature and humidity - but the humidity sensor is inside the case, not supplied as a probe, so I'm not sure it will measure inside the headbox very easily !

Thanks Roy but this model is now discontinued. I need a device that is safe in an O2 rich environment and that is easily cleaned between patients. I can't see anything obvious that is not affordable and meets the above criteria.

Sorry Bigfoot - I took the stock number off the one hanging on our wall. It was easier than trying to find it in the catalogue ! rolleyes

I haven't seen anything else that might fit the bill I'm afraid.

Sorry. frown

To check the humidity readings we use the RS humidity meter stock code 224-0856. Might be suitable. From what I remember its about £280.00
