We are currently looking to replace the transport ventilator in our A&E department.

I have already approached Drager and pneupac but would be greatful for the names other companies I could approach.

Feedback regarding transport vent's you may have in your hospitals would also be greatfuly received. Many thank's

Best wishes

Have a look at the Breas/Pulmonetics LTV. It has a built in compressor and does a lot of fancy ventilation modes and is about the same size as a laptop computer (LTV=LapTop Ventillator) if you do not have all the add-ons like screen and extra battery that is.

My spelling is not bad. I am typing this on a Medigenic keyboard and I blame that for all my typos.

go for LTV 1000 - from Pulmonetics
It doesn't require any external high pressure air to drive the pneumatics inside as it uses turbine (built in) technology.
Itlooks and weigh as laptop computer.
It can be used both on high /low (flowmeter)pressure oxygen source to achieve the set O2 %. Modes available are Assist/control, SIMV, CPAP, non-invasive, on both pressure and volume cycled.
tidal vol 50 - 2000ml, pressure support, pressure controled flow termination, has internal battery and can use external battery as well.
