We had a hard disk fail on one of our image recorders. Got a new hard disk,copied all the partitions and made it bootable using another system to copy from, however we still get the message "no operating system".
It seems to use an embedded version of windows 98 second edition. Anyone know the trick for fixing it, or better yet, anyone have a Stryker install disk?
Dont particularly want to send it back if its an easy fix.

I think you would be better off Ghosting the disk image rather than copying individual folders and files etc. An internet search for ultimate boot disk contains some free DOS based disk imaging/ghosting utilities.

Thanks Tailzer, we did ghost the disk at first, but with no success. Then tried making it bootable and copying the directory structure - again no success. I think there is something low level needs to be done - it is a bus based PC rather than a motherboard system and I'm sure we are missing something. Thanks anyway.
