I've been asked by a colleague to find out if there's anyone in the London area who could service a GE/Marquette T2000 treadmill (no longer supported by GE). If you think you can help, please let me know and I'll put you in touch with them.

There's not much to serviceing one. Check belt condition & tension, adjust as necessary. Replace belt if damaged, also replace board under belt. Speed & inclination are self calibration. Unplug lead from stress system & then initiate calibration. Beware with cover off the "Gold" coloured metal parts are 110v potential.

You can run the calibration program by shorting out the two pins located behind the small metal panel, fixed with 3 screws, located at the rear of the unit. They are difficult to spot next to the D type socket. Once shorted be careful as the treadmill runs through a inclination cycle and then speed from zero to full throttle.
