We've got several of these. Pretty capable monitor depending on the module/software you buy.
Battery problems - well if you don't plug them in the batteries dont charge. I guess that is a major failing but one which seems to be common to a lot of portable equipment!!
If you're not used to touch screens that can be a bit of a hurdle but once overcome, staff seem OK.
Support - v good. Local service engineer lives near Bradford has been with Spacelabs many years, former Biomed at Airedale I believe.
If you take a service support contract out for maintenance most of the service spares seem to come out by return post.
