Based at Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Ref 0866
EBME Services is responsible for the maintenance and repair of a diverse range of Electro-Medical, Anaesthetic and Communications equipment across two DGH's, and 3 PCT's.
We provide medical equipment management to RBCHFT as part of a service level agreement.
Duties include asset management, commissioning of new equipment, performing routine scheduled maintenance and repairs to medical devices. Experience maintaining ventilation equipment would be a distinct advantage.
EBME Services is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Technician to fulfil the role of Specialist Technician. You should have a minimum of 5 years relevant technical experience in the management, servicing, repair and calibration of specialist Medical Equipment, and hold a relevant degree in Electronics/Bio-Medical Engineering qualification or equivalent.
You will be expected to be able to demonstrate self motivation, the upholding of professional standards, be conscientious and well organised in your approach.
Working hours 37.5 per week Monday to Friday, with a requirement to travel to other sites as necessary.
Salary Scale £23,458-£31,779 per annum
The department operates an informal call out system across both sites which you will be required to participate in, providing emergency cover to the Trust's Medical Devices out of hours.
