Dear All.
Is there any one who have experience on this GE HISPEED ADVANTAGE CT SCAN. I have a problem that during bootup the system showing error an internal error SCSI communication failed.
The cpu failing to boot software from HSD & LSD SCSI harddrives.
Initally system was working ok but after sudden power breakdown the system is not working properly with above error.
Can any one guide me to isolate the problem, i have all the service & technical manuals. Also have Tape drive softwares to load.
I have hired GE trained engineer but he failed saying that we should upgrade the whole console to new. I think there is some politics involved. Hope u will understand.

SCSI communication failure messages normally point to one of three faults;

1. Sounds perhaps as if the software has been corrupted as a result of the power failure.

2. Could also be that one of the HD is now damaged and would require replacement.

3. Failing that it could be a SCSI controller failure but normally in this situation it is the sw being damaged and only a reload will cure that.
