It says in the manual calibrate linear travel, plunger position linear potentiometer, control PCB, or chassis PCB

But you need the force calibration tool, and the service manual it's free in Adobe format from Cardinal Health.

There are ways around using the force calibration tool if you dont have it. For example if it says to apply 4kgs force to the plunger, hang a 4kg weight from it. wink
(of course i'm not advising anyone do this, the proper tool for the proper job and all that wink )

Yes, it is. but after you register on their site. To do this, you need account number and account name (whatever it is...) To get one, you must be their customer, or "healthcare professional licensed within the United States" (http://www.cardinal.com/ebusiness/registration/index.asp)
I'm none of this. frown

2Cyberdog: Elegant solution. I've already done this once. (Just for diagnostic purposes, of course smilewink)

Most commonly caused by users bashing the plunger & bending the motor plate. A re-calibration may be all you need this time.

You can also just push the plunger and bend the motor plate back if your lucky. A trick I learned from Paul J actually...
