Is anyone familiar with the Viasys SiPAP (neonatal bi-level nasal CPAP)I have an error 33 which I supect might relate to Oxygen calibration required, but we have yet to obtain manuals/ training as very new. I am awaiting a response from Viasys, but any info on fault codes would be useful.

Hi John,
We had these i the NICU/SCBU at Leigton Hospital In Crewe. I never encountered an error 33, plenty of 51,53 which relates to the O2 Cell.
If your really stuck I know the EBME guys there have a manual, I am sure if you give them a call they will check the manual for you.
If you ask for Andrew or Mark, they are very helpful guys.

According to the manual "E33 - Unusable - pressure sensor readings unreliable" Corrective action "Replace pneumatics PCB and recalibrate pressure and 02 sensors".

We also had problems with o2 fuel cells (error E50,E51) and changed from analytical to maxtec. Hope this helps.

When Viasys come to look at the SiPAP they may be able to re-calibrate it. I have had this fault before and after calibrating the pressure, the fault has not surfaced again.
Saying that, if it is new and under waranty, it may be worth trying to get another board, just incase it happens again outside of warranty.
