Are you asking about Digital Radiography, Sajeev? Care to be a bit more specific about the "spec" of the system you have in mind? smile

Dear Sir,
Yes! We are asking about Digital Radiography
we have few materials on IDC make DR system. Our X-ray requirement is 125-150 per day and we are lookin for a model which can support the load and our expansion for the next 5 years (say 200 x-rays per day).Is there any other manufacturers who are better in technology and image quality.i am told that the CCD technoly which IDC uses is out dated

Dear Sajeev,

If I am not wrong, General X-ray (going filmless), the technologies today are still making use of CR as a mean towards digital film and archiving.

Looking at IDC website, this is something interesting and saving alot of processing time as compared to CR. Not sure why are you saying that the CCD technology is outdated? May be good to do a comparison and do you know when have these been first sold in the market?

Make the impossible POSSIBLE. I know we all can and it is the wisdom to distinguish one from the other.

There are a couple of suppliers in DR, namely Kodak, Swissray, Siemens, etc. Seems like IDC still the cheapest around.

Try this www.swissray.com, http://www.carestreamhealth.com/directview-dr-3500-system.html

Philips Digital Diagnost is flavour of the moment. GE Definium has reliability issues. Siemens has new range including wireless detector for more flexibility.

RSNA next week so new kit may be launched in Chicago.
