Sounds like there's a leak there somewhere, Mate! Hopefully, it will just be something simple, like the cuff or its tubing.
If you don't inspect ... don't expect.

thanks geoff, & abdul. U are right, the pump is not working at all during bootup. Checked the pump driver ckt it is ok, FET & AND GATE driver. The processor is not giving PUMP ON command. I think there is some internal calibration error thats why it is not proceeding to normal operation mode. Also i checked the supplies they look ok to me. If i can get a starting point i can isolate the problem insha ALLAH. Jaza-k-ALLAH for your help freinds.

Hi Laiq, this seems to indicate a transducer problem to me. I think I would first check that the unit reads pressure OK, now that you have established that it is not an air leak. If the pressure does not rise then you have found your problem. All automated nibp monitors have some logic that monitors cuff pressure and if it does not rise sufficiently during a reading it will come up with an error. You may want to speak to CAS directly and their contact details are on the web www.casmed.com.Richard

Dear Richie Thanks for your reply. I have managed to repair one unit successfully. Yes it is transducer & its associated ckt fault. Processor is not getting the required transducer readings in order to proceed to normal operation. Now currently working on last unit to make it work again. CAS medical have replied to me as one of my freind did contacted them on my behalf. The response was same as i was expecting, that this model is obsolete, no diagram or data for this model, replace it with new one :-) Thanks anyway for viewing this post & replying. Regards LAIQ
