At the last new hospital(s) I was involved in we installed
Primus pass-through machines. The largest ones (66 kg if I remember correctly) had double doors on each side. But they had a single drum. That is the load at each door was not segregated. When you think about it that would be difficult to achieve if different cycle times
etc. were needed.
I also became the "world's expert" (or so it seemed) on rinse water recycling! Although laundries and laundry equipment rarely fall within the biomed's remit, they are in fact quite interesting. As I say, you can really clean up with laundries. Just as you can make a meal out of kitchens!

But you need to get your planning (sizing, layout
etc.) right and make a decent job of installation.
