Does anyone use the NCPAP flow driver for transport? We have just set up a system, but are currently having problems trying to source a patient circuit which doesnt have all the extra holes for humdifier probes etc.

(note: we are aware that it is not possible to buy the "infant flow generator" part of the circuit from anywhere else)

Does anyone have any ideas, apart from plugging all the holes on the circuit we currently use?

Are you talking about the EME (viaysis) NCPAP unit. At 8 -10 lpm you gas cylinders won't last too long.

Hi Paul

I'm sure Cardinal (VIASYS) sell a circuit for use as a transport system. Ask your rep or give them a call. If you don't have any joy, let me know and I will see if I can find the product code for you.

Hi John, it is a good product but the paperwork was not quite right from a regulatory point of view (someone at the manufacturers forgot to dot the i's) so it has been withdrawn from sale until it is all correct. It should be back soon, hopefully.

Thanks for that Mark - I think when it is put to market, it will potentially be a great product for your catalogue.

You could also try Flexicare, they have made patient circuits for us to our specification. Good luck.
