Does anyone know how to clear the data card on a Heartstream XL currently getting a message saying its full?

Put it in a lap top, copy the files over (you never know you might need them later) then delete the orginals on the pcmcia card.

If you later need to review the information with the Phillips "Event Reviewer" you will need to copy the information back on to the card.

While you're at it it might be interesting to see what other files (if any) are on that card, and how it is formatted. For instance, can it simply be re-formatted as if it were a hard-drive? That is, just by issuing the FORMAT command? I suspect a "yes" to that one.

It might also be of (perhaps even greater) interest to bung a PCMCIA USB card in there (the Defib, ECG Recorder, or whatever it is) and see whether you can then save to a USB Memory Stick (and also copy to laptop, PC, external hard drive, flash memory card and all the rest over a USB linking cable, etc.). Another "yes", I should imagine. smile

If you don't inspect ... don't expect.
