Hello everybody, I am new over here, and I really hope this is the right place to come with my problem...
There's a customer over here who owns a Metron Lagu2 dual channel Infusion Pump Tester, and he has a problem measuring low flowrates. He has asked me for support, but unfortunately I do not have very much experience with the Lagu...
He is using a Arcomed 6000 Syringe Pump and wants to do measurements in the range of 1 or 2ml but notices a deviation of 75% when he is doing the measurement with an interrogation time(dT) of 30 seconds. When he has a dT of 180 seconds, his deviation is 20%. It's much less, but still too much, and he claims that -according to the IEC60601-2-24 standard- the default time should be 30 seconds. (however I cannot find it anywhere in the IEC60601-2-24 standard myself)
Some other settings: cycles, 30sec., back pressure= 0, testtime 30 min., delaytime 0 min., peak 10%.
- Does anybody know if the dT -according to IEC60601-2-24 really should be 30 seconds, or is it at least 30 seconds?(the Lagu's max. dT is 600 sec., it's default value is 30 sec.)
- Does anybody know what should be the preferred settings for an accurate reading while using the equipment as mentioned above?
