Hi
I have been working with neocare over the past 12 months and have helped Steve Ladley in the development of the Scope Vault. My department under took the initial testing for the product and have now gone live using GE medical TOE probes, and have completed over 600 cycles in our AERs. We are using Lancer FC4s and Aperlan detergent. We are currently looking at some older Philips probes and are waiting to purchase a Scope Vault to fit these probes. The Scope Vault enables you to leak test the outer sheath of the TOE probe as it is gently presurised to help prevent water ingress. The is an issue with Philips probes as they cannot withstand pressure greater than 50mbar, so the Philips TOE probe Scope Vault will have a different presure release valve to accomadate this issue.
We are a reference site for neocare and welcome site visits if people want to look at the ScopeVault in action.

We are currently writing an article for publication with all the data.

Hope this helps

Thanks for that feedback.
It sound as though we have almost identical AER equipment to you (FC2's and 4's) GE TOE probes.
I have been monitoring the position with the scopevault through Neocare and our decontamination team are revisiting the position 12 monthly.
I will be interested to see your follow up article/report and you never know i might be able to escape for a visit!

Thanks
Steve
