Hello All, Im trying to remember a type of test soil I have seen used in these washers, Here goes with my description....the test soil was printed on a thin sheet of opaque plastic sheet (paper thin) in bright red print, and was placed in a stainless steel clamp with a lattice construction about 2inch square , and then placed into the bowl/basket and washed through a process, The result being if the process had worked properly the red print would be washed away even where it was behind the lattice clamp.... Well ive tried me best, anyone know the manufacturer of this stuff or what its called?

cheers.

I cannot remember either, but have done the test myself!

Anyway if you're stuck give Phill Green a call at Eastwood park (or email) he'll know it all and give you the supplier details no doubt.

OK, I appreciate that people are trying to follow some sort of "Best Practice Guidelines" (or even official Standards) here ... but I can't help but wonder if it wouldn't be possible to come up with an equally valid test method of your own devising! smile

After all, to put it crudely ... bugs are bugs, and filth is filth!

If you don't inspect ... don't expect.
