I understand that some ECG machines have a “baseline resetting feature” that is designed to operate if a large offset voltage appears at one of the recording electrodes, during defibrillation for instance. I’m trying to discover whether or not the Marquette MAC 6 has such a feature. I have looked through the operator manual but can find no reference to such a feature. Does anyone know the answer to this question??

We have a MAC6 service manual from which I have found the following paragraph:-
When connected to a marquette Aquisition module this equipment is protected against the effects of cardiac defibrillator discharge to ensure recovery, as required by test standards
