Umish first and foremost "I don't drink" second you started this thread so why should Huw give a prize and third as I said earlier I am a happy go lucky type of person, patience is a virtue and I have lots of that.

I appreciate that, there are very few people like yourself. I guess that's the reason you can survive out so long....

I only managed 13 years !

I salute you ninja

Hey Umish, I've always found it a good policy not to judge others by your own standards!

Anyone with a bit of mukh can survive just about anywhere. It's all just a question of attitude.

But ... thirteen years? You're not even in the running, Mate. smile

I could name a Brit expat who was out there for ten years at a stretch. That is, without coming out of the desert at all during that time! And that was just one of five "visits" (but by far the longest, of course). What's the big deal? Work is work, and it's horses for courses.

And at least "out there" they will let you get on with the job. That is, without all the 'elf 'n' safety, myriad regulations, restricted hours, and "PC" [censored] ... unlike another "Kingdom" I could mention!

If you don't inspect ... don't expect.

I survive because I get paid quite well, freedom to do the job and excellent vacations.

You are absolutely right Geoff, that's why I am trying to create a satisfaction survey.

That is how it is in the real world. Sometimes I miss the Magic world.

But I still believe Nick Brown will be turning out the lights. I bet my money on that horse Geoff.

I did not mean that type of "satisfaction survey" read between the lines.
