Peter Mandelson? That man put me right off voting for his party back in 1997!

Both wrong, I'm afraid!

If you study the earlier clues ... er, posts, you will notice that both "Tony" and the "Prince" (sounds like the title for a fairy tale, doesn't it ... well, that's about right, then) have been discounted.

But both PM's mentioned there are likely candidates, I grant you.

And I was hoping to avoid the use of names ... believe it or not, I do value my freedom (and, as the thinking people among us will be aware, Modern Britain has carried on from where East Germany left off)! frown

Tony and the Dark Prince are not the stuff of fairy tales, more like a horror story to me! Look out for MI5 (re Dr. Kelly)

John Smith, Robin Cook ... it ain't funny, that's for sure! frown

Meanwhile, guess who's paying for the lorry loads of white wash for the latest ... er, inquiry (which, I notice, seems to have gone quiet these past few days ... Christmas Recess at the Trough, I suppose)?

Don't worry, we taxpayers pick up the tab for everything. Why would anyone expect it to be otherwise?

(still trying to work out the pun, by the way) smile

They might all eat from the trough (tax payers money) but to be polite they are still a bunch of turkey's. Will you now reveal the name of who inspired the quote or is MI5 on your doorstep?
