This turns up some hours after normal infusion.

Any suggestions as to likely solutions to try before getting a bank loan to fix it.....

According to the manual, Error 1 is primarily display related. I would check connections at (to) the display board, etc.

It can also be the pressure amp on the cam follower assembly. You could try swapping the cam follower assembly with a good one. Because the error is coming up after a while, that's what I would do first. Is the cam follower assembly in good shape, I wonder (clean, etc.)?

No need to worry the Bank Manager ... we have plenty of spares for these pumps, and do a lot of work (on older stuff like this) for vets. Send it in to us if you get stuck. smile

If you don't inspect ... don't expect.
