Hi I have a problem with my GE MAC5000, when plugged into mains it does not charge the battery,no green light is on but amber light only. When a fully charge battery is inserted it gets
drained in minutes. As for the rest machine works ok print ok
display ok.
Anybody has an idea what the problem is with the unit?
Would a service manual help me in fixing the problem or
is it something for an engineer ? (I have some very basic knowledge of egineering)
I also need a service manual if anybody can help this will be much appreciated my email v_speziali@yahoo.co.uk
many thanks for your trouble and best wishes

Please ignore my request for technical help about the battery, problem has been solved, thanks.
I still need a service manual for the MAC5000 (NOT MAC500)
Thank you

Ok, check your inbox. Also copied to Franksworkshop so should be available there for anyone else who needs it.

Welcome to the forum, yuye. smile

When you need manuals it's always best to check with Frank first.

Also, most folk find it useful to include their email address at their profile.

You need to change a new battery that will solve your problem.
