Anyone had any experience of Verathons service centre? It seems everytime we send a Bladderscan for annual calibration multiple costly repairs are discovered during their inspection eg strain relief damage.
We always inspect and note any damage prior to shipping.

We have 10 Verathon BVI3000 Bladder Scanners here and they are all on contract with Verathon at about £730.00 per unit. This covers the cost of calibration, 1 accidental damage to the probe and a loan unit. I can phone them, a loan unit delivered within 2 days, our unit collected and job usually completed within a week. We have had many a probe 'damaged' (dropped) and the usual cost would be about £2000.00 to repair which is covered by the contract so it may be worth your while looking into putting yours on contract.

Once they have replaced the probe do they charge for calibration or is it all included?

Hi Billy11 we use BARD for our servicing never had a problem with charging that I am aware off. Loan units also available on service or repair. the new BARDSCAN units that can be calibrated on line anyone using this procedure successfully?
