How are others disposing of their used Medical Equipment batteries. We are looking after our general WEEE operators decided not to take batteries.

The reason your WEEE operator did not want the batteries is that they are now seperate from the WEEE Directive. Now covered under "Waste Batteries & Accumulators Regulations 2009" i.e. different compliance scheme.
