We've had another one in since then. Same fault, oddly enough. I've looked into sourcing the required transformers in the UK. It can be done, but I doubt that the customer(s) will be willing to cough up.

I shall have to continue to live in hope that some surplus units will turn up somewhere. And then hope (beyond hope?) that they don't all carry the same fault! Ha, ha.

... I'm interested in your use of "india-pin". Having come across this before, I'm wondering why "pin" is used. Presumably, this is a postal, or zip, code. But to many folk around the world, PIN indicates Personal Identification Number.

OK, Google has beat you to it! It stands for "Postal Index Number", apparently. But surely not the most imaginative choice of the possibilities available! Why not Region instead of Index ... and Code instead of Number?*

Meanwhile, do you have any of the transformers I need, or would would wish me to send a couple of faulty ones for rewinding?
