I have just received an email from Shona Farrell of Expat Network. That name will, no doubt, be one known to many.
It seems that times are hard, and she is trawling through the old membership lists in an attempt to get folk such as myself to "re-enlist", as it were.
Interestingly (and as a
sweetener, no doubt), she included a link to their
Nexus magazine. Well, I had a quick look, but as expected failed to notice any biomed jobs listed.
As I've said before, it looks like all those contracts are well in the past now. It was good whilst it lasted, but I guess those "developing countries" have all ... er,
developed now, and can therefore manage quite well without us!
